Emergency Barge Services

Pintail Marine Logistics is thrilled to be a part if San Juan County’s marine transportation services throughout the islands. As part of a pilot project, we will be providing emergency barge service to all WSF-served islands and Anacortes. The goal of this service is to meet critical health, utility, and life/safety needs.

Our barge is prepared to transport essential service vehicles to and from Lopez, Orcas, San Juan, Shaw, and Anacortes in the event of ferry cancellations. These services will be available when WSF is estimated to be out-of-service for greater than 24 hours or when the WSF mainland service is reduced to fewer than a 2-boat schedule.

Service providers interested in utilizing emergency barge services must pre-register, companies can request emergency barge services with the form at the this link: https://sanjuancountywa-public-works.app.transform.civicplus.com/forms/bargeservicerequest
